Message My TT swap has basically neared its end. I still need to polish and buff the paint. She is SZ-tuned and put down 421hp @ 15psi on 93. I couldn't be much happier.

Now I'm thinking about adding a little extra insurance to her for when I'm on the track (NOT ON SLICKS).

I could go two routes (or 3): 1) SZ Oil pan 2) Accusump 3) SZ Oil pan + Accusump. I'm not a serious racer...I'd like to go 4 times a year. I understand the concept of the Accusump, but I started to wonder if it serves a purpose beyond prelubricating the engine before start-up. I'd like to know if it is able to inject enough oil assuming the oil-pick up were to be exposed for a second? I'd imagine if it was exposed, there would be an air pocket in the oil galleys and the Accusump would not be able to fill those air gaps.

Can anyone elaborate and tell me if I'd be wasting money?
